Airpods Pairing Mode

If you’re like me, the second you got your AirPods in the mail, you ripped the box open and shoved them in your ears. But then—hope dashed—you realized that there was no music or podcasts to be heard anywhere. You didn’t have time to read through the manual before you took them out of the box, but now you’re left with a nagging question in your brain: How do I put my Airpods into pairing mode?

Hold Down the Setup Button

Putting your AirPods in pairing mode is easy and quick. To start the process, open the lid of the charging case and press and hold the setup button on the back until the status light flashes white. Once the light is flashing, your AirPods will be visible in the list of Bluetooth devices on your phone or other device. Select them to complete the pairing process.
If you have difficulty connecting your AirPods, make sure they’re charged and that you’re within 30 feet of the device you’re trying to connect to. If your AirPods are still having trouble connecting, resetting them may solve the problem. To do so, press and hold the setup button for at least 15 seconds or until the status light flashes amber a few times. Once the reset is complete, you can try putting them into pairing mode again.
Now that you know how to put your AirPods into pairing mode, you can easily use them with any Bluetooth-enabled device! Enjoy your wireless listening experience!
